What this game processes
When you create or join a room, Basketball Empire processes the player name you enter, your game actions, room state, and a temporary access token used to reconnect you to that room. If you choose an uploaded avatar or camera photo, the image is shared with the players in that room and stored as part of the room state.
Browser storage
The game uses localStorage to remember your room session and preferences, including whether you dismissed the quick-start guide. You can remove this information by using Leave Game / New Game or clearing this site's browser data.
The public arena attendance counter uses a first-party be_visitor_day cookie to count the same browser at most once per UTC day. The counter does not store your name, room, avatar, or game actions.
Google advertising
This site uses Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses, and similar technologies to deliver, measure, and protect advertising. Depending on your location and consent choices, ads may be personalized, non-personalized, or limited.

Service provider
The game is delivered through Cloudflare, which may process connection and security information needed to serve the website, protect it from abuse, and keep multiplayer rooms available.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is used for private, aggregate traffic and performance reporting. Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics beacon does not use cookies or browser storage and does not track individual visitors across sites.
Retention and choices
Room data is kept for game operation and may remain in service storage until removed during maintenance. Avoid uploading an avatar you do not want other room players to see. You may clear local browser data at any time and stop using the service.
